Our story

Eleven bottles on the shelf, and not one of them was the one.

Victoria Limarin is an Australian-owned skincare brand, established in 2016, built on one belief: most people do not want more choice. They want to stop choosing.

There is a shelf in almost every bathroom that nobody is proud of. Eleven bottles. Four of them empty. Two bought because someone with good skin said to. One you cannot remember opening.

When we started in 2016 we looked hard at why that shelf exists, and kept arriving at the same boring answer. Most routines fail at one step. The moisturiser goes onto dry skin, where it has nothing to seal. So the skin feels dry an hour later, and the answer is always another bottle.

We made two products, in order. A toning mist that gives the skin water it can hold, built on organic rosewater, organic aloe vera and Kakadu Plum. And a lightweight moisturiser that seals it in, built on rosehip oil, green tea and Davidson Plum. Kakadu Plum and Davidson Plum are in both steps, printed on both bottles.

Then we stopped. Not because two is a clever number, but because we could not honestly argue for a third. There is nothing else here to sell you, and that is the whole point.

The One is not a claim about being the best. It is a claim about being enough. Something you reach for without thinking, that does what it says, and then leaves you alone until tomorrow.
